Overview

Marketscape Insights for Home Medical Equipment and Home Infusion helps you define and execute your sales and marketing strategy to ensure you are focusing on high-potential sources.

• Understand which organizations are utilizing the products you produce and what your current market share is within those customers.
• Influencing and educating the providers that are seeing patients that could benefit from use of the products your company produces.

There are two .PDF files at the bottom of this article that you can download and view. One is an overview of the interface, which duplicates some of the content in articles in the FAQ section of the Help Center but also includes some additional content. The other article shows how to use Marketscape Insights for HME to target physicians with the highest potential for creating referrals.

Product Basics

Explore Page

After you log in you will see the Explore page. (Details below)

Navigation - The boxes on the left allow you to navigate between the Explore page and the Analyze page

Provider Type - On the Explore page you can switch between viewing physicians and organizations using these two tabs.

Global Search - You can search for any provider by name, NPI or alias

Filters - Using the filters will limit the entries in the table to a more focused set. Example: You can choose a specific code set, a physician specialty, and a closely defined location. Then, click on the header for the column "Order Rank" To bring the physicians with the highest potential with those attributes to the top!

Views - You can save a group of filter settings as a "view" and restore it easily by using "Saved Views."

Recently Views Providers - Clicking on the icon will display a list of the most recent providers you have viewed on the Analyze page.

Favorites/Targets/Custom Lists - once you have browsed for and found providers of interest, you can group them for easy retrieval, see Favorites, Targets, and Custom lists

Globe - If you have access to more than one product in Marketscape, you can click on the Globe to navigate there.

Main Explore Table - This table shows the complete list of providers of the type selected in the tab, either physicians or organizations. Use this table to browse and compare providers.

Resource Center - Clicking the icon will open the resource center (image below) which provides access to the following:

• Help Center - search for articles in the Help Center, or navigate to the Help Center
• Customer Support - Submit a support ticket
• Submit an Idea! - Submit an idea for a new metric or feature to our product team
• Announcements - Keep up to date with the latest training webinars, updates to the product or other news.

Analyze Page

When you click on any provider name in the Explore page main table, Marketscape Insights will navigate to the Analyze page for the selected provider.

Although this image is from the Physician Analyze page, the Organization Analyze page is essentially the same.

Provider Information - At the top of every Analyze page there is a panel of content about the selected provider. If you click on the at the top right (see arrow), the panel expands to reveal more details.

NPI - If you click on the provider's NPI, a new tab will open to show the NPPES Registry for the selected provider.

Chart View - On the Analyze page you can view some content in tables or as charts. Click on to turn on chart view - .

Tabs - There are four tabs of content that you can view. The content in each tab is described in the name of the tab. (Organization Analyze only has two Tabs - Patient Population and Referral Share.)
