Overview

On the Explore page there are two tabs that allow you to select the type of provider you want to view in the table on the page. You can choose physicians or organizations.

Physicians

For HME, you can think of physicians as referral sources. They order products or services for their patients and the codes for the product or service will tie the physician to a specific code set. From the image above, the listed physicians prescribed antibiotics, and are therefore connected to that code set.

Organizations

Organizations provide the products or services ordered by the physicians.

What do I do with Physicians and Organizations?

The beauty of Marketscape for HME is that you are able to establish a relationship, and the character of that relationship, between a "source" physician and the organizations who service the physician's patients.
